after hours coverage

After hour coverage is provided seven days a week through walk-in clinics, the Emergency Departments at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, and the Prince County Hospital in Summerside.  Drs. Don Neily, David Reid, Garth Slysz, Dawn Shea and others of the Sherwood Medical Centre share walk-in clinic coverage. Walk-in clinics are on a first come first serve basis and are generally meant to serve problems of acute but non-critical nature.   Problems such as trauma, chest pain, significant lacerations, life-threatening asthma, or seizures are best handled in the Emergency Rooms.
