20th Anniversary Open House
Our open house celebrating 20 years in Crapaud on Friday, August 5 went very well. There was much food and fellowship at the clinic. Dr. Visser did his Images of Africa presentation along with a presentation about the history of doctors in Crapaud and our 20 years which both went very well also. Some laughs were heard and there were some tears here and there as memories were reflected upon mostly during the presentations.
Many people stopped by between 12 and 3 that day including some more notable guests. Hon. Chester Gillan, Minister of Health, stopped in, as well as Carolyn Bertram, our MLA for Crapaud-Hazelgrove..
Some people were saluted for certain things such as Myrtis Boulter for being with us for so long. Other salutes included Rachel Lowther-Doiron, who was our first patient in 1985, and Kathryn Wood, who is our oldest patient.
